Forefoot Pain

Forefoot Pain (Metatarsalgia) is a drop or collapse of the arch. As the arch flattens, the bone ends move closer together causing the soft tissue to be pinched or trapped.

CAUSES:

  • INCORRECT FOOTWEAR
  • MUSCLE IMBALANCE
  • CHANGE IN SHOE HEIGHT

SYMPTOMS:

  • PAIN IN THE BALL OF THE FOOT
  • NUMBNESS/TINGLING IN THE TOES
  • SHARP OR SHOOTING PAINS

TREATMENTS:

  • USE DOUBLE STRIKE OR SORBO PRO INSOLES TO HELP ALLEVIATE PRESSURE IN THE BALL OF THE FOOT AND TO CREATE A METATARSAL ARCH
