Heel Pain.

Heel Pain (Heel Spurs) is a bony growth that results from too much tension in the planter fascia which may trap or irritate nerves in the heel area.

CAUSE:

  • A CHANGE OR INCREASE IN ACTIVITY
  • POOR ARCH SUPPORT
  • LACK OF FLEXIBILITY IN CALF MUSCLE
  • INFERIOR INSOLES

SYMPTOMS:

  • PAIN IN HEEL

TREATMENTS:

  • APPLY THE RICE PRINCIPLE (REST, ICE, COMPRESSION, ELEVATION)
  • USE HEEL PADS TO ADD HEIGHT AND HELP INCREASE FLEXIBILITY IN CALF MUSCLE OR SINGLE STRIKE
