CONDITIONS & INJURIES

  • Ankle sprains
  • Plantar fasciitis – an injury from overworking the foot which can also be caused by a biomechanical issue, improper running footwear or increasing training volume or intensity too quickly
  • Tennis toe
  • Stress fractures and shin splints

TREATMENT

Whilst shoes should be specifically designed for tennis so that they “give” enough to allow for side-to side sliding, Sorbothane insoles can enhance the level of support provided by the shoe.

  • Double Strike
  • Sorbo Pro

The Sorbo Pro provides a snug fit to the heels to prevent slipping arising from side to side movements, as well as support to the arch. The sole of the foot, particularly the heel and toe areas, are both cushioned and protected by Sorbothane’s unique polymer in order to mitigate the shockwaves the feet are subjected to during the game.
